Terms of Service

Last Updated:

1. Service Scope & Platforms

AnchorGit is a developer tool suite consisting of an open-source CLI engine (anchorgit-cli), web dashboard console, and team API service. Installing the CLI or creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Software Licensing (Split License Model)

  • CLI Engine: Granted under the Apache License 2.0. Free to use, modify, and distribute.
  • Web Dashboard & API Services: Granted as a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable subscription service (SaaS) for personal or internal business use.

3. Account Credentials & Workstation Identity

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their API keys (ag_live_...).

Hardware HMAC signatures generated by anchor pair are bound to local machine GUIDs. Users must not attempt to spoof, reverse-engineer, or forge hardware signatures to falsify ledger integrity.

4. Notary Integrity & Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use AnchorGit to deliberately notarize malicious code, obfuscate security vulnerabilities, or automate spam decisions into public profile ledgers (/p/:username).

5. Service Tiers & Payments

  • Individual Free Tier: Provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime or dedicated support SLAs.
  • Enterprise / Team Tier ($20/dev/mo): Billed monthly or annually per developer seat. Payments processed securely via third-party payment processors (Stripe). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

6. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

AnchorGit provides cryptographic decision tracking "as is." AnchorGit is not liable for software bugs, failed CI/CD deployments, or lost local ledger files (~/.anchor/ledger.json) resulting from local environment corruption.
